With RIMM reporting tomorrow and with the volume in AAPL slowing considerably this week, we may be taking a rest with AAPL at this point. This has been the Energizer Bunny stock of the tech world for a while now, but I am expecting some consolidation now.For long term investors, you have no worries and this is just part of the way that stocks gyrate. The long term prospects are still great.
For traders, watch that volume. It has a yellow flag for me. If RIMM has blow out numbers, however, the pin action for AAPL may change the situation. I always like to take a little off when "events" can change the technical picture. RIMM's earnings tonight is one of those events.
Too bad that I didn't see the latest GRMN event coming! It would have saved me some coin. I expect a "jump-back" bounce in GRMN today, but that will mostly be short covering. GRMN needs some news to regain its upward track.
